Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order entry and processing
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed, demonstrating culinary experience and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while multitasking between serving, bussing, and guest interactions
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience with serving in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate bill processing
