Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated lead teacher to join our growing educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love for autonomy among young learners. This role involves creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop their skills through interactive activities and curriculum development.
this position has a flexible start as we want to take our time looking for a great addition.
Start July/ August/September 2026
schedules ;
8.30 am to 5.30 pm ( if language)
8.00 am to 2.00 pm ( no language /Montessori)
Montessori in the morning /Spanish in the afternoon
Duties
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes communication, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their ldevelopment.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to their child's learning.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly and productive learning atmosphere.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, literacy education, and child development.
Requirements
knowledge of Montessori teaching a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields ( or enrolled for an early childhood BA)
- Experience working with children in daycare or educational settings for a min if 2 years with kids 2 to 5 years old
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices is beneficial.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
