What You'll Do
As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in helping residents maintain their dignity, comfort, and quality of life by:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
- Taking and recording vital signs as assigned
- Assisting with transfers, mobility, and positioning using proper safety techniques
- Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and restorative care
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the nursing team
- Helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Working collaboratively with nurses and fellow caregivers to provide outstanding resident care
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA certification in the State of Oregon
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required
