Additionally, our technicians work closely with other manufacturers. We provide parts and service for almost any car wash equipment on the market. In addition to standard car wash equipment, Blue Dolphin also carries garage doors and support equipment like air compressors and water softeners. Our inventory and delivery representatives keep equipment rooms well-supplied and tidy. They drop off products, combine products to save space in equipment rooms and pick up empty containers.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service/Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing car wash equipment at customer locations. This position requires travel within the designated service area close to your home, and a valid driver’s license is required. You are issued a vehicle, phone, tablet, and credit card. We are a close-knit small team that is constantly learning and evolving together. Your teammates are always available to help.
What you'll do as a Service/Install Technician
- Diagnose and repair routine and non-routine problems with car wash equipment.
- Service and/ or Install equipment at customer sites
- Travel daily to assigned job sites.
- Maintain a complete inventory of company equipment and supplies in the work area (including company vehicles).
- Work with various departments to resolve technical issues: Engineering, Parts and Equipment, Operations, etc.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines for field service reports, work orders, expense reports, etc.
Qualifications of a Service/Install Technician
- The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial-mechanical and/ or electro-mechanical service fields to effectively troubleshoot, repair and install car wash equipment. The successful candidate will have an eye for following technical instructions, be comfortable using power tools, and enjoy working independently as well as with a team.
