Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
- Process payments efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with accuracy
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, dining areas, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Foster guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, fast- casual preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess roles is a plus
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting food prep when necessary
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
