Work Model:
What You Will Do:
- Program and maintain RhinoFAB door fabrication machines, including computer-based glazing software used to cut, drill, route, and fabricate aluminum components
- Troubleshoot and maintain both machine software and equipment to ensure reliable operation and production efficiency
- Develop and modify programs with precise dimensional requirements, including custom aluminum door systems and specialty hardware applications
- Analyze how design modifications impact fit, function, and performance within door and frame systems
- Manage and prioritize the fabrication schedule for the door department, ensuring production deadlines are met while proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks
- Coordinate with machine operators, fabricators, receiving personnel, and logistics teams to align production schedules with deliveries and installation timelines
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, including listening, written communication, and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Self-motivated, proactive work ethic with the ability to anticipate and solve challenges before they impact production
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Degree, coursework, or relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience using 2D CAD software (strongly preferred)
- Experience programming CNC or similar automated fabrication equipment (strongly preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or related industries (strongly preferred)
- Prior supervisory experience (preferred), or demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the potential to succeed in a management role
- Engineering or CAD Drafting experience (highly preferred)
