Summary of position:
The Business Officer Clerk performs accurate and timely clerical accounting functions for the Business Office.
Job Responsibilities (see attached job description for additional details):

Review and match supporting documents to printed checks to ensure accuracy of payments prior to mailing.

Ensure remittance backup is included with checks to be mailed.

Ensure all supporting documentation is attached to check or direct deposit copy and filed in alphabetical filing system.

Retrieve and compile payment documentation as requested by auditors, monitors, etc.

Review employee travel vouchers for accuracy and appropriateness of supporting documentation.

Perform various general clerical tasks, such as data entry, typing, filing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer application skills.

Ability to operate various pieces of office equipment.

Ability to understand the need for and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
-
Ability to effectively interact with coworkers, clients, and the public.
Schedule:
Full-time, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 35 hours/week, 12 months/year
Salary:
Level IV duties $17.34/hour
Level V duties $17.84/hour
