The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for Recreation Assistant to teach basic skills to participants in sports camps. This is a part-time, non-benefited position at the Orem Fitness Center.
This position requires a knowledge of basic skills and techniques of various sports and games and will be responsible to teach these skills and techniques to participants. Sports include but not limited to basketball, soccer, baseball and football. In addition this position is responsible for set up of camps and clean up when done, supervise youth who attend programs and perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Candidate must be available to work T and Th mornings from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience.
