American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of critical care or procedural experience and an active OR RN license.

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) unit serving routine and emergent cases
-
Multidisciplinary team includes RNs, IR Technologists, and Interventionalists
-
Patients undergoing IR procedures including GIB, stroke, and trauma cases
-
Department operates Monday through Friday, 07:30–16:00, with an on-call team available 7 days a week after routine hours

Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 07:00–17:30

On-call is required, including weekends and after-hours, with the ability to report to work within 30 minutes of being called

Epic EMR experience required

Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation

Active Oregon RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care, PACU, ED, or a procedural setting

IR, Cath, or GI procedural experience required; IR experience including body and neuro procedures strongly preferred

Epic EMR experience required
-
COVID vaccination proof required — no exemptions accepted

Two manager or supervisor references from an employer within the last 24 months required; Charge RN references are not acceptable

Ability to tolerate continuous movement throughout the entire shift

Ability to ride an aerial tram throughout the day

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including management of associated complications
-
Must be able to adapt to frequent assignment changes and manage competing priorities throughout the shift

Knowledge or experience with radiation safety and fluoroscopy is preferred
-
Experience as a Charge RN in ICU, PACU, or ED is preferred
-
8 hours of annual stroke education is required

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction

Former OHSU employees or previous OHSU travelers must have a reference completed by their OHSU manager, which will be reviewed by the reporting manager before consideration

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
-
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of the application and may not exceed 2 weeks
