Responsibilities
- Clear and reset the kitchen area clean and ready at all times promptly to maintain a clean environment
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist with food prep tasks such as ingredient setup and basic kitchen duties to support culinary staff
- Support catering events and banquet setups by ensuring cleanliness and proper dish handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and service areas through regular cleaning routines
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health standards
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service flow during busy hours
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Experience in food service, catering, or banquet settings is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling safety practices, and cleaning protocols is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
