Medical Assistant (MA) - Temp-to-Hire | Doylestown, PA Contract Overview
- Contract length: 8 weeks, with extensions to meet 520 hours, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position
- This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity — candidates must be interested in converting to full-time staff
- Pay rate upon full-time conversion: approximately $21-$22/hour
- Program: Local Contract Allied Health
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Obtain vital signs and medical histories
- Assist physicians with procedures and testing
- Collect and process specimens
- Perform EKGs and injections
- Support patient mobility and transportation
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and sterilization standards
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to maintain efficient patient flow
- Deliver excellent patient and family service
- Assist with pre-certifications
- Train new staff or interns as needed
- Support workflow improvements across the department
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of Medical Assistant experience required
- EPIC knowledge is highly preferred
- Must be highly motivated and eager to learn
- Must be dependable and able to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills are essential

- MAs and CSAs wear burgundy/maroon scrubs
