About the Opportunity
People Architects is partnering with a highly respected financial institution to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring a positive employee experience across the organization.
The Human Resources Manager will oversee employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, training and development, and HR operations. Working closely with executive leadership, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to managers while helping cultivate a collaborative, high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead employee relations efforts and provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee issues, performance concerns, and policy interpretation
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life, disability, and retirement plans
- Administer benefit enrollment, employee communication, and vendor relationships
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefit offerings and employee wellness initiatives
- Manage and support performance review processes and talent development initiatives
- Partner with leadership on succession planning, workforce planning, and employee retention strategies
- Coordinate training and development programs for new hires and existing employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
- Conduct investigations, disciplinary processes, and exit interviews as needed
- Support employee engagement, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives
- Collaborate with recruiting partners to support hiring and onboarding efforts
- Serve as a member of the management team and contribute to organizational planning and decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and benefits administration
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence leaders across an organization
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Experience within financial services, banking, credit unions, or other regulated industries is a plus
