MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The preferred candidate would have experience in AU 400 based presumptive screening to carry out biomedical analyses in a CLIA certified lab.
The candidate will work as part of a team to provide preliminary immunological screenings and confirmatory results of drugs of abuse, as well as with those drugs used in the management of pain.
Responsibilities include assisting with general lab support duties, reagent preparation, and qualification, and instrument maintenance.
The candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced, CLIA certified physician-owned laboratory which will require the capability of working under minimal supervision, planning, and prioritizing assignments to meet timelines while remaining organized.
Preferred Profile:
- 1-2+ years of AU 400 based screening
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot instruments and routine lab equipment as needed to prevent errors and problems.
- Experience with Olympus AU 400 series analyzer
- Sample preparation for urinalysis is preferred
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred
Minimum requirements:
Associates Degree in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, or closely related field.
