Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this engaging position, you will develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will help empower clients to achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life through tailored behavioral interventions.
Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs that promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent intervention across settings.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review client progress, adjust interventions, and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments with precision.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to diverse populations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records and sensitive information.
