Create a warm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate learning environment

Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities grounded in research-based practices

Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and colleagues

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times

Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies
Requirements:

ECE Units required under California Title 22 (must meet teacher qualification requirements)

Ability to pass a criminal background check
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire

A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Knowledge of DRDP implementation

Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) for preschool
