Position overview
We are seeking a hands-on Commercial Construction Foreman to lead field crews and drive daily production across active project sites in Arkansas and neighboring states. Reporting to the project superintendent, the foreman executes the daily work plan, directs crews and subcontractors, and holds the line on quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a working leader who can read a set of plans, organize a crew, and keep production moving without sacrificing workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct field crews and subcontractors to meet daily production targets and quality standards
- Execute the daily work plan set by the superintendent and communicate priorities clearly to the crew
- Read and interpret commercial drawings, specifications, and shop drawings; lay out and sequence work accurately
- Enforce site safety policies, lead toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance throughout every phase
- Perform in-progress quality checks to verify work meets design intent and code requirements
- Coordinate material deliveries, tools, equipment, and site staging to support efficient production
- Maintain daily logs and field documentation using construction management software (Raken, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Identify field issues early and escalate to the superintendent and project manager with proposed solutions
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 4 years of commercial construction experience, including crew leadership or foreman responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Working knowledge of concrete, framing, and coordination of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trades
- Familiarity with construction management and field documentation software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally to project sites
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience with behavioral health, healthcare, or institutional construction projects
- Multi-trade background and the ability to step in across disciplines when needed
Work location & travel
This position is based out of North Little Rock, AR. Project site travel throughout Arkansas is required. A company truck is included with this position. CCG covers fuel and vehicle-related expenses so you can stay focused on the job.
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
