Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:30PM – 5:30AM
You will work 36 hours, if you obtain all 36 then you will be paid for 40 hours
Job Summary: The Cleaner/Light Maintenance associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and the maintenance shop areas at Complete Filter Media, LLC, Lancaster, Ohio.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential job functions)
- Cleans fiber, dust, oil, and grease from machines, ceiling, floor, overhead pipes, and conveyors, filters and any other areas deemed necessary using brushes, air hoses, vacuums or other tools necessary.
- Basic knowledge of common tools (i.e: screwdriver, wrenches, sockets, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of removing guards/covers to clean interior machine parts
- Must be able to provide basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, etc., toolbox or belt
- Keeps working areas in production & shop area in clean and orderly condition
- Cleans specific components of machines as scheduled.
- Moves materials within plant using powered industrial trucks (forklift).
- Maintains communication with plant management by documenting and reporting actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.
- Additional Expectations: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to read, write and speak English competently.
- Valid driver’s license and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) record approved by company insurance carrier.
- Previous Janitorial experience
Environmental Conditions:
· Office, Manufacturing / Warehouse environment with temperature extremes, dust, and noise.
· Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E) may be issued and required
