We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Electrical Working Foreman to lead on-site crews and oversee the execution of electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. In this role, you will bridge the gap between project management and field execution, ensuring our commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects are completed safely, on time, and up to code.
Because we service a diverse portfolio of clients, regional and extended travel to project sites is required to support project execution efficiently. (Pay is based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily tasks for Journeymen and Apprentice electricians on site.
- Project Execution: Oversee comprehensive electrical installation, wiring, and system upgrades across commercial, industrial, and multifamily developments.
- Blueprint & Plan Management: Read, interpret, and layout electrical installations directly from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards, local electrical codes, and company safety policies.
- Troubleshooting & QA: Diagnose complex electrical issues, oversee routine maintenance/testing, and ensure all installations pass quality inspections.
- Material & Document Control: Manage on-site material requests, track inventory, and accurately document daily work logs, change orders, and progress reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and other trades to maintain the project schedule and resolve field issues promptly.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Lead, Foreman, or a seasoned Journeyman ready to step into a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in commercial, industrial, and multifamily electrical systems, circuitry, and blueprint reading.
- Leadership Skills: Strong problem-solving, crew management, and technical communication abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to travel long distances and work on extended regional project assignments as required.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school graduation.
