Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support administrative operations, event logistics, customer engagement, and office management activities. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, preparation, and execution of company events and expos.
- Assist with attendee registration, database management, and record maintenance.
- Coordinate event staffing and support personnel to ensure successful event operations.
- Manage event-related communications and follow-up activities with attendees and exhibitors.
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry and administrative support functions.
- Support project management efforts by assisting with timelines, deadlines, and operational tasks.
- Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives as directed.
- Maintain office organization, inventory, and supply management to support daily operations.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support company goals and initiatives.
- Perform general administrative duties and provide support for special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong phone & written communication skills and a friendly demeanor is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Weekly Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
- Part time position in our Troy, MI office.
- Hours are subject to change and may increase or decrease based on workload.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
