We're seeking Part-Time (3-6 or 11-6) and Full Time (9am to 6pm) Early Childhood Teacher's Assistants with a background in education who is knowledgeable and passionate about educating young children. An ideal candidate will have a degree in Early Childhood Education, prior experience working with children and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. To be teacher assistant qualified you must have 12 college credits in Early Childhood. The successful applicant will enjoy the opportunity to utilize their skills towards the betterment of our students and to work for an organization that upholds values such as integrity, compassion and honesty.
Responsibilities:
- Use the computer to keep records of each student's progress.
- Communicate with parents in writing and through conferences.
- Use innovative techniques to help children learn new things.
- Use the computer and other materials to develop a program that will help each child learn and grow.
- Monitor children's health and safety, and deal with emergencies that may arise during the day.
- Offer support to parents by answering questions about a child's education, health, or behavior.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.13 - $23.13 per hour
