Join Our Team at DCFS: Child Support Enforcement Consultant
This position serves as the program's primary resource for statewide statistical reporting, performance analysis, ad hoc reporting, automated reporting tools, and budget monitoring. It supports the collection, analysis, and reporting of statistical data for both State Office and Child Support field operations, ensuring accurate data is available for management, legislative requests, federal reporting, and operational decision-making.

Job Duties

Leverage large amounts of complex, multisource data to inform day-to-day management of the Louisiana Child Support program

Produce analytical reports on measures and metrics set by departmental priorities.

Ensures all statistical data is maintained so that requests for information are responded to timely and accurately.

Communicates with DCFS budget to address budget needs and adjustments during the fiscal year.

Interprets statistical data and writes complex formulas so tasks such as "what if" analyzes can be performed.

Creates various Ad Hoc reports which require extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
