Purpose:
Maintain and operate all aspects of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. This includes following state and federal laws, hospital policies, and use of good common sense when dispensing medicine and devices for use on patients.
Qualifications:
- BS in Pharmacy

Licensed by the State of Louisiana.
- Computer knowledge.
- Basic typing skills.

Ability to tolerate a great number of phone interruptions throughout workday.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Possesses positive customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
- Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 25% of the day.

Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.

Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.

Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 10% of the day.

Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
