Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures meet food safety regulations and sanitizing protocols
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting creative toppings or styles
- Support food production for high-volume orders while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including proper sanitizing of surfaces and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and cooking various ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a high-volume setting
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Background in dietary aide or dietary department work is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
