American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Mayfield, KY, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Located on the 3rd and 4th floor Med/Surg unit of a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital
-
57-bed Med/Surg unit serving patients of all ages
-
Common diagnoses and treatments include COPD, post-operative joint care, and diabetic patient management
-
Patient ratios of up to 1:6 with PCA assistance

EMR system: Meditech
-
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
13-week contract
-
Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed
-
On-call required as needed
-
Floating to like units possible as needed
-
Active KY or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and HWC (AHA-issued certifications required) — all must be in hand prior to start

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience

Part of the LifePoint Health system, this facility is the sole provider of acute care in Graves County, KY

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

Any color scrubs are acceptable; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
