Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver with experience both manual & automatic transmission trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials & equipment safely & efficiently to & from job sites while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. We are a strict drug-free workplace & require all employees to comply with our drug & alcohol policy. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & are subject to random drug & alcohol testing throughout employment.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of CDL trucks with both manual & automatic transmissions.
- Transport various materials, including asphalt, aggregate, construction materials, & demolition debris.
- Transport heavy equipment to & from jobs.
- Conduct pre-trip & post-trip vehicle inspections & report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness & overall condition of assigned trucks & equipment.
- Secure loads properly & ensure materials are transported safely.
- Collect, maintain, & submit load tickets , delivery receipts, weight tickets, & other required documentation to office personnel.
- Assist with loading & unloading materials & equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, & traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, & job site personnel.
- Travel to various job sites as required, including overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B License with clean driving record
- Experience operating both manual & automatic transmission vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations & safe driving practices.
- Experience hauling asphalt, construction materials, aggregates, or demolition debris preferred.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections & basic maintenance checks. Must be comfortable using mobile application for vehicle inspections using WhipAround inspection app.
- Ability to work flexible hours & travel when needed.
- Dependable, punctual, & commited to safety.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions & no physical limitations.

Pay: $200.00 - $225.00 per day
