We are seeking 10 motivated and dependable Carriers to Fulfill a new contract acquired by the team at Savier Bridge LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating Your flatbed (48ft) semi or Hot Shot (40ft preferably) to safely pick up and deliver freight efficiently and on time. Qualified CANDIDATES MUST TAKE AND UPLOAD PICTURES OF ALL LOADS BEFORE LEAVING SHIPPER. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST STAY LOGGED INTO MACROPOINT OR SAMSARA WHILE ON ALL LOADS. After carrier ensures our cargo reaches its destination securely and in excellent condition driver will upload all required paperwork and receive payment within 24-48 hrs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to earn $4.00+/mi. ATTENTION COMPANY PLANNERS!! I CAN SCHEDULE OUT YOUR FLEET FOR THE WEEK. Requirements
- Safely operate your own tractor (or pick-up truck) and trailers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and other critical components to maintain optimal safety standards
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Must have chains, binders, tarps, straps, corner protectors, ELD equipment and maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or any unforeseen issues during transit
- Secure loads on flatbeds or specialized trailers to prevent shifting or damage during transport
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior experience with flatbed trucks or hotshot is A MUST
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with necessary endorsements
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo handling
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation tools for efficient deliveries
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients
- The ability to READ WRITE AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH IS A MUST.
