Sales Associate – Shipping & Retail Services
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail and service environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, handling shipments, and supporting daily store operations while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Handle shipping, receiving, mailbox services, and general customer inquiries
- Process transactions using POS systems with accuracy
- Manage mail and package intake, sorting, and distribution
- Handle small business print orders, including color and black & white copies
- Operate and carefully handle store equipment, including computers, printers, and copy machines
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the store
- Recommend services and upsell products when appropriate
- Follow all operational procedures to ensure accuracy in shipping and printing services
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Experience working at The UPS Store or similar shipping/printing establishments is highly preferred (higher starting pay possible)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and office equipment
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Be reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
- Remain calm and professional in high-pressure customer situations
- Employer may require drug testing and a background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 40–50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and multitasking
Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
- Graphic design experience
- Notary certification (higher compensation may apply)
