Responsibilities:
- Perform point to point checkout, sequence commissioning and testing of systems.
- Coordinate all work with project managers. Update project managers on daily basis with progress on projects.
- Connect, program, test, and checkout DDC controllers and their associated points.
- Develop software for systems, update or modify existing software as required to commission the systems as per approved sequences.
- Develop, update, and modify network databases on supervisory controllers and servers as required as per contract documents.
- Use checkout and testing tools, hand tools, etc. for systems checkout, testing, and commissioning.
- Update and modify systems graphics as per project requirements.
- Perform checkout of field devices such as sensors, actuators, transducers etc. and terminate wiring in panels as required.
- Manage control service calls on different projects.
- Maintain effective communication with managers, customers, internal project team members and supervisors.
- Review project drawings and control engineering submittals for assigned projects, understand controls requirements, and implement them as required.
- Layout and coordinate control systems work in field with project teams and other trades.
- Complete, submit and maintain logs of daily reports, service reports, issues logs, checkout sheets, project pictures etc. for all associated projects.
- Provide trainings to customers staff as required.
- Perform work in accordance with Local, State and Federal Laws and adheres to all required Safety Standards.
- Ensure that all work is performed with integrity and ethics.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have valid US driving license and clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Successful candidate must be team oriented and self-motivated.
- Must have beginner’s knowledge of computer networking, especially with LANs, Hubs, Routers, etc.
- Must have basic knowledge of air conditioning systems and controls.
- Basic understanding of systems controls programming, systems checkout and graphics for control systems.
- Familiarity with National and State Electrical Codes
- OSHA 40 Hour Safety Certification
- Technical experience with mechanical systems, central plants, DDC controls and building automation systems is preferred.
- Working familiarity with Tridium Niagara N4, AX, Distech Controls, EC-GFX program, Johnson Controls PCT, CCT, Johnson Controls FX Workbench etc. is desired.
- Flexible to work outside normal work hours/weekends if required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
