Farmwell is refreshing antioxidant hydration that starts on a family farm in Warners, New York, just outside Syracuse.
In 2017, our family planted 25,000 aronia berry bushes by hand. Today, the farm is Regenerative Organic Certified®, reflecting how we care for the soil, support biodiversity, and grow with the future in mind.

The Role
Farmwell is hiring outgoing and dependable Brand Ambassadors to lead in-store tastings throughout the Sacramento areas.
This is not a stand-behind-the-table-and-wait role.
You will be actively introducing shoppers to Farmwell, offering samples, starting conversations, and helping people discover a refreshing new drink. You will share what makes aronia berries unique, where our ingredients come from, and why regenerative organic farming matters.
A great tasting should feel welcoming, informative, and fun. You will help shoppers understand:
- What Farmwell tastes like
- How it is different from sparkling water, juice, and traditional sports drinks
- Why we make it with no added sugar
- What antioxidants and aronia berries bring to the drink
- How every can connects back to our family farm
You do not need to be a beverage expert when you start. Farmwell provides direct training so you feel confident speaking about the drinks, the ingredients, and the farm.
We are looking for people who are:

You will be the face of Farmwell inside the store. A cold sample gets someone’s attention. Your energy, knowledge, and conversation help turn that first taste into a new customer.
What You’ll Do
You will be the person bringing Farmwell to life inside the store.
That means you will:
- Set up and break down a clean, welcoming sampling table at assigned grocery stores
- Prepare and pour cold samples—and make sure they stay cold
- Start real conversations with shoppers rather than reciting a script
- Share the story of Farmwell, our aronia berries, and the family farm behind every can
- Answer questions about the drinks, ingredients, and regenerative organic farming
- Keep your table clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift
- Encourage interested shoppers to find Farmwell on the shelf
- Submit a short recap after each shift, including what sold, what shoppers said, and anything that surprised you
- Track and submit your hours accurately
You will receive training before your first tasting, along with the information and materials you need to represent Farmwell confidently.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You Are
- At least 18 years old
- Available for weekend shifts
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable starting conversations
- Able to work independently and stay engaged throughout the entire shift
- Genuinely curious about food, farming, wellness, or where ingredients come from
- Able to stand for the duration of a shift, with reasonable accommodations available
- Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available
- Able to travel reliably to assigned store locations
Experience with product demonstrations, retail, hospitality, events, farmers markets, or customer service is helpful, but it is not required.
We care much more about finding someone who is interested, prepared, and excited to connect with people than someone who has memorized a standard sampling pitch.
Farmwell will teach you about the farm, the fruit, and the drinks. You bring the curiosity and energy.
The Details
- Position: Part-time, hourly Brand Ambassador
- Locations: Grocery stores throughout the Tahoe area
- Schedule: Primarily weekends, but 1-2 days beginning and/or end of week. Based on retailer tasting calendars
- Typical shift: Approximately four hours
- Weekly hours: Hours are variable and are not guaranteed. Some weeks may have one 4 hour shift, while busier weeks may offer several
- Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
- Training: Paid training is provided before your first shift
- Rest breaks: Paid rest breaks are provided in accordance with California law
- Mileage: Approved business mileage between assigned store locations during the workday is reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate
- Paid sick leave: Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with applicable California and local law

Pay transparency
The pay range above reflects the hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of hire. Actual pay is determined by experience, location, and other job-related factors. We do not ask applicants about salary history.
