Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on industrial equipment using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct electrical maintenance, including electrical system repairs, high voltage work, low voltage systems, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to assess system performance and identify faults.
- Repair and maintain HVAC/R systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems, and welding equipment with attention to safety standards.
- Operate field service vehicles to reach customer sites promptly for on-site repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates accurately.
- Collaborate with clients by providing technical sales support and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and reading schematics or blueprints.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding skills preferred), and industrial electrician experience.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters confidently.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management; experience with electrical blueprint reading is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by expertise in equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting (including high voltage), and electrical systems maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Valid certifications in HVAC/R or industrial electrician credentials are advantageous; proficiency in using field tools like scissor lifts is a plus.
