Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan processing cycle, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards. This position requires strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of mortgage processes, making it essential for maintaining the integrity of our operations. A strong knowledge in DSCR and Investment property lending is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan applications to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Process loan origination documents, including gathering necessary information from applicants.
- Conduct underwriting assessments to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and risk factors.
- Collaborate with loan officers and other team members to facilitate smooth processing of loans.
- Manage escrow accounts and coordinate with relevant parties throughout the mortgage servicing process.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to loan processing.
- Stay updated on DSCR and investment property guidelines and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience in loan processing or related financial services roles.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and mortgage servicing standards.
- Strong knowledge of TILA regulations and loan origination procedures.
- Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
