Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Hiring Manager to oversee the recruitment and hiring processes for all three of our McDonald's locations. This role is essential in ensuring we attract, interview, and onboard the best talent to support our team and business goals. Hiring operations are centralized at our Northville location. Typical example of in office work schedule is 11-7 Tuesday and Thursdays, Wednesday 11-4, work from home Monday, Friday, and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Hiring Processes: Oversee and streamline the entire hiring process, from job posting to onboarding, across all locations.
- Schedule Interviews: Schedule and coordinate first and second interviews.
- Background Checks: Run thorough background checks on potential employees to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Orientation Coordination: Facilitate 1st and 2nd orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with various office tasks related to hiring and employee management.
- Human Resources: Coordinate employee Human Resources meetings and attend. Document meeting items discussed, file, and follow up/closing of issues that are resolved or ongoing.
- Travel: Occasionally travel between restaurant locations as needed to support hiring efforts and training.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably in the food service industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hiring software and systems is a plus.
- A commitment to maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
