Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Summary
Join a leading nutraceutical manufacturing company in Salt Lake City as a Quality Assurance Inspector earning $19/hour with immediate start available. This role offers direct hire potential after 90 days with full benefits including PTO and 401k.
What You'll Do
- Monitor production areas to ensure cGMP standards and internal SOPs are followed throughout manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Examine incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance
- Conduct equipment calibration, temperature and humidity monitoring, and scale operations
- Complete batch record reconciliation including product yield, label verification, and waste documentation
- Perform plant sanitation monitoring and conduct swabbing as required by production schedules
- Execute taste testing and systematic blend release procedures
- Monitor allergen handling protocols during production and product labeling
- Complete daily and weekly QC reports with accurate documentation practices
What You Bring
Required:
- High school diploma
- 1+ year of work experience
- Strong math and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable wearing required PPE including face masks, goggles, scrubs, and hair nets
Preferred:
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Previous quality, safety, and sanitation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Schedule & Shift
Multiple shifts available: Days, Swing, and Graveyard shifts with shift differential pay for swing and graveyard positions.
Pay & Compensation
$19.00 per hour with weekly pay. Direct hire opportunity after 90 days includes 80 hours PTO and 401k benefits.
