Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all dealership areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and customer lounges using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors
- Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high standards of floor care and sanitation
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in accordance with health standards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning equipment or materials to prevent injuries
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within commercial or dealership environments
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers effectively
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy items or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or troubleshooting minor issues
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while performing custodial duties in a fast-paced environment
