Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company standards and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during cashiering duties
- Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout shifts
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; culinary experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is beneficial; retail or grocery store experience is also relevant
- Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment
