Part-Time Nanny – Middletown, Louisville

Schedule: Mondays 7:30 AM–5:30 PM & Wednesdays 7:30 AM–2:00 PM
Pay: $23–$30/hour, depending on experience
Children: Two boys, ages 3 years and 14 months
A warm, down-to-earth family in the Middletown area of Louisville is seeking a caring and dependable part-time nanny to become a trusted and valued part of their home.
The family is looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and enjoys encouraging their development through play, reading, creative activities, outdoor time, and consistent daily routines.
Their Christian faith is an important part of their family life and influences the way they approach parenting, kindness, and respect for others. They hope to find a nanny who is comfortable supporting these family values and who values open communication, reliability, and thoughtful care.

About the Children
Their 3-year-old son is bright, curious, independent, and loves to learn! He enjoys:
- Practicing his ABCs, including sign language ABCs
- Learning phonics
- Playing outside
- Arts and crafts
- Disney—especially Mickey Mouse!
- Helping with everyday tasks and doing things "all by himself"
He is currently fine-tuning his potty-training skills and thrives with a caregiver who encourages his independence while providing patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
Their 14-month-old son has a joyful and easygoing personality. He loves smiling, laughing, reading books, interacting with those around him, and exploring his world through play.
Both boys currently take one nap each day.
Schedule
Monday: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM–2:00 PM
The family is looking for someone who can provide dependable and consistent care on both days.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will center around providing attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for both children, including:
- Creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities
- Reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Supporting developmental milestones and learning
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Supporting the 3-year-old with potty-training consistency
- Maintaining established nap and daily routines
- Children's dishes and meal clean-up
- Tidying toys and play areas
- Keeping children's spaces neat and organized
- Light child-related household tasks during nap time

Compensation
$23–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
