REQUIREMENTS
this position requires two years experienced individual in fine dining
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating chart and server rotation
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in coordinating special events or large party reservations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest service skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
