Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs to uphold property standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues promptly, providing effective solutions to prevent further damage or inconvenience
- Respond swiftly to urgent repair requests, ensuring minimal disruption to occupants or operations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference
- Collaborate with property managers or clients to plan preventive maintenance schedules and prioritize urgent repairs
Skills
- Proven experience in general handyman tasks across multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or painting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain repair processes clearly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety standards and building regulations relevant to maintenance work
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent repair needs
- Nice-to-have: certifications in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems or related fields; familiarity with power tools and diagnostic equipment
