Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and mechanically skilled Field Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across a manufacturing facility located in Redwood, MS. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of machinery You will deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely solutions on-site, helping to maximize equipment uptime and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and analysis skills will make a tangible impact.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, HVAC/R units, and industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist in training team members or customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures when needed.
Qualifications
- All new hires must be fully accinated against COVID-19 and must provide proof of vaccination prior to starting employment with the Company unless a valid excemption applies.
- Proven experience working in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanics.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Military background is a plus due to discipline and technical training background.
- Must be able to pass both drug and background assessments.
