Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and caring for infants across various classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including play, learning routines, and social interactions
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily experiences, milestones, and needs
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to infants’ developmental stages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of infant areas, including diapering stations and play zones
- Support behavior management strategies that foster positive social skills and emotional growth in infants
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred)
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention
- Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Experience with classroom management, caregiving routines, and behavior management strategies
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for working with young children
