Wage: $26.00 - $28.00/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Monday - Friday) or 4:30pm - 3:00am (Monday - Thursday)

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Produce food colors according to approved formulations and procedures while meeting production goals within the production area
- Operate equipment including the seed extractor, cookers, filtering press, various pumps, mixing equipment, evaporator and the forklift as associated with the process
- Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of the production and warehouse areas
- Ship and receive to include the loading/unloading of trucks.
- Complete in process lab tests as required including use of scales, spectrometer, glassware, and pH meters
- Work with chemicals including caustics and acids
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, adjusts plans to meet changing needs
- Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, keeps abreast of changes, learns new programs quickly, uses computers to improve productivity
