Summary
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining upkeep and repairs of the agency property as directed by the Lead Maintenance Technician.
This position demonstrates commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the agency by engaging in respectful, cooperative relationships with customers (i.e., clients, employees, and external stakeholders); being accountable for providing services and ensuring safety to customers while empowering customers in achieving the agency’s mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Performs floor maintenance, upkeep in offices, and all building interiors, including vacuuming, mopping, and buffing.
· Empties trash receptacles.
· Assist as needed with repair and maintenance, and housekeeping needs to meet licensing and accreditation standards
· Assist with agency vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
· Develop cooperative relationships with customers; rendering effective services in a timely manner to support the achievement of the agency’s mission
· Assist in the routine maintenance of lawn care, tree/shrub care, and snow removal on parking lots, walks, and porches.
· Assist in moving furniture, supplies, equipment, and other Agency materials as needed.
· Adhere to policies and procedures, inclusive of, but not limited to, attendance, program/department-specific procedures, code of conduct, training requirements, social media, and confidentiality.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalency.
· Two years of general housekeeping experience.
· Must be a licensed driver.
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively and take instructions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, use hands, climb stairs, and be able to lift up to 80-100 lbs.
Work Environment: Hours may be set to accommodate cleaning offices when staff is not present. Use of cleaning supplies is an integral part of the position. May travel to multiple building locations.
Other: Must be at least 21 years of age since in contact with child/youth clients. Must have a valid driver’s license. This employee may be required to travel from one location to another on a regular basis.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
