Loan Processor Entry Level
Loan Processors are the facilitators responsible for moving loans through the origination process at Western Capital. They are the star coordinators, promoting transparency and constant communication with all parties inside and outside the organization. As a Loan Processor, you will manage the overall client experience by helping them understand loan status at any given time during the process and setting expectations for what is coming up next. We are looking for Loan Processors who take accountability and ownership of client files, and who want to make a difference in the client outcomes. We need problem solvers who are perceptive, proactive and keen on providing excellent customer service who take pride in anticipating client needs, solving problems and preparing all parties to minimize surprise throughout the loan process. You will be the overall caretaker of the client file, relying on internal and external vendor relationships to help meet client and organizational goals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Daily communication with clients to manage expectations and move files in process from file opening to closing.
- Procuring, ordering and gathering loan requirements to fulfill lender stipulations for approval.
- Developing and presenting options to customers.
- Submitting requested loan documentation to lenders for underwriting and approval.
- Coordinating and maintaining constant communication with all parties, such as title company, insurance agents, processing, sales, underwriting teams and internal stakeholders.
- Building relationships with internal and external partners to help facilitate processing.
- Reporting loan portfolio progress to leadership.
- Continuously working with leadership and peers to promote learning and best practice dissemination.
Job Requirements
- Strong verbal, written communication skills and attention to detail.
- High level of accountability and ownership for outcomes.
- Analytical skills; Excel and Microsoft word experience a plus.
- Coordination skills; project coordination skills a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

This is an hourly paid position, reporting to Coon Rapids office in Minnesota. Training is provided. Western Capital is a Commercial Real Estate Loan Broker who partners with several Private and Hard Money lenders nation-wide to offer loans for investment pursuits that have been turned down by traditional lenders.
