Steps Recovery Center is looking for outgoing and responsible people to join our team of amazing Direct Care Staff. This position is for Steps Recovery Center - St.George, a residential treatment center for drugs and alcohol with mental health located in St. George, Utah.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Oversee the clients and facility after clinical is gone

Transport clients to AA/NA and other 12 step meetings

Assist clients with taking their medications on time and as prescribed

Ensure that clients are completing chores and other necessary tasks

Enforce and maintain boundaries with clients

Complete client drug screens
-
Communicate with clinical staff, reporting important information forward

Daily office tasks (answering phones, etc)
-
Complete documentation of each client on each shift
-
Minor crisis intervention
-
Maintain recovery focused environment
-
Basic Office skills
-
Basic Kitchen skills
-
Have or get food handlers permit
-
CPR/First Aid Certified (if hired, we will help provide these certifications)

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver's license
-
Must be able to pass 12 panel drug screen

Independent and self-motivated
-
Compassionate and caring while able to hold boundaries and enforce rules
-
One year sobriety
-
Pass a Background Check

$14.00-$16.00 starting, per hour
