Octagon Construction & Energy is seeking a highly motivated Emergency Response Representative to respond to fire, water, storm, and other property losses throughout New Hampshire. This position is responsible for meeting with property owners following a loss, explaining the restoration and rebuild process, securing work authorizations, and helping customers navigate the first stages of recovery.
This is a fast-paced, field-based role that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, urgency, and the ability to build trust during difficult situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to fire, water, storm, and other emergency loss opportunities throughout New Hampshire
- Meet with homeowners, business owners, property managers, and other decision-makers following a loss
- Explain Octagon's emergency response, mitigation, environmental, and reconstruction services
- Secure signed Work Authorizations and service agreements
- Coordinate with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to production
- Develop relationships with fire departments, insurance agents and adjusters, property managers, municipal officials, commercial property owners, and facilities managers
- Maintain regular communication with referral partners and clients
- Attend networking events, chamber functions, and community events
- Track all activity, contacts, and opportunities within the company CRM
- Assist in generating opportunities for both mitigation and reconstruction services
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, restoration, construction, insurance, emergency services, or business development preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and establish rapport quickly
- Comfortable working in emergency and time-sensitive situations
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout New Hampshire

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
