Field Operations Support

Odyssey Painting & Construction is looking for a dependable, hardworking Field Operations Support team member to help keep our projects, crews, and field managers moving efficiently.
This is a hands-on position for someone who would rather be out driving, moving, delivering, organizing, power washing, and helping wherever needed than sitting behind a desk.
We are primarily looking for a full-time team member, but we are open to part-time candidates with strong weekday availability and the right experience.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver paint, lumber, siding, tools, and other job materials
- Haul trailers between jobsites, suppliers, our shop, and disposal locations
- Make dump and debris runs
- Move ladders, equipment, tools, and materials between projects
- Power wash homes and other project surfaces in preparation for painting
- Help keep our warehouse, trucks, trailers, and equipment organized
- Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Deliver additional supplies to crews when needed
- Assist field managers with day-to-day jobsite logistics
- Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors
- Help load and unload trucks and trailers
- Step in as a jobsite helper when a painting or carpentry crew needs an extra set of hands
- Perform basic cleanup, setup, material handling, and other jobsite support
- Handle the miscellaneous field tasks that keep our crews productive and projects moving
This is not a management position. Your role is to support our field team, solve logistical problems, and make sure our crews have what they need to keep working efficiently.
What We're Looking For
Previous trailer hauling experience is required.
You should be comfortable:
- Driving a pickup truck while pulling a trailer
- Backing and maneuvering trailers
- Properly connecting and disconnecting trailers
- Securing loads
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Driving throughout the Kansas City metro
- Using a pressure washer
- Performing physical work throughout the day
- Working outside in changing weather conditions
- Jumping in to help a crew on a jobsite when needed
You must also:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have a driving record that meets our insurance requirements
- Be dependable and show up on time
- Be able to work independently without constant supervision
- Be comfortable lifting and moving construction materials and equipment
- Have good communication skills
- Be willing to help wherever the team needs you
Construction experience is helpful, but reliability, trailer experience, driving ability, and work ethic are more important.
Schedule
Full-time is preferred.
We will also consider part-time candidates who can consistently work approximately 20–25+ hours per week during normal weekday business hours.
Because this position supports active jobsites, daytime weekday availability is important.
Pay & Vehicle
- $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Company vehicle provided for work use

Odyssey Painting & Construction provides painting, siding, carpentry, decks, doors, and other exterior home improvement services throughout the Kansas City area.
We're looking for someone who can become the dependable support person our field team knows they can count on.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
