What You'll Do
As an Unarmed Security Officer, you'll help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas
- Conduct routine foot patrols
- Assist with access control and authorized entry
- Observe and report suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies
- Assist employees, visitors, and guests
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Follow established security procedures and post orders
- Communicate security concerns to appropriate personnel
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining security awareness
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates should:
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Have strong customer service and communication skills
- Be comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, and the public
- Have strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Be comfortable working indoors and/or outdoors depending on assignment
- Be able to work independently and as part of a security team
- Meet all applicable licensing and certification requirements
- Successfully complete required pre-employment screenings
Schedule Availability
This is a Full-Time Security Officer position.
Candidates should have flexibility to work assigned schedules, which may include:
- Day, evening, and/or overnight shifts
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Overtime based on operational needs
