Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetmaker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct cabinetry and fixtures
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install custom cabinets using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Perform trim carpentry tasks including door hanging, molding installation, and finishing details to ensure seamless integration
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines
- Execute framing carpentry tasks such as metal stud framing or wood framing for cabinetry or related structures
- Handle fabrication processes including CNC machining, rebar installation, or metalworking as required for custom projects
- Install fixtures such as countertops, hardware, water damage restoration components, or siding with attention to detail
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials or assembled units on-site while adhering to safety protocols
- Perform finishing work including caulking, plastering, painting, or stucco application to achieve a polished look
- Assist with remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work or plumbing when needed
- Support restoration efforts by applying skills in mold remediation, water damage restoration or historic preservation techniques
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry with a focus on cabinetry or woodworking; construction site experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders) essential for daily tasks
- Familiarity with construction estimating methods and project planning processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments
- Experience with metal stud framing, CNC fabrication equipment or rebar installation is a plus
- Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage remediation or mold removal is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings
- Valid experience in roofing, siding installation or fixture mounting enhances versatility in this role
