Henry Repeating Arms, an American made only company, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our Assembly and Packing/Shipping operations at our Rice Lake, WI Facility.
As a Production Manager, you'll be responsible for daily department operations by providing guidance and leadership to production staff. General accountability will include meeting posted production requirements, providing guidance to work areas, enforcing company policies, driving profitability, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a culture of safety and Continuous Improvement.
- Through data and observations find the gaps in processes, design, and people execution that need to be addressed before failure.
- Provide guidance to departmental employees on company expectations such as; productivity levels, work behavior, quality guidelines, policies, etc.
- Enforces established company policies, rules and regulations to include but not limited to safety, quality, and attendance.
- Manage departmental metrics relative to but not limited to safety, quality, productivity, OT, expense, Inventory Accuracy, etc.
- Provide employee feedback and growth opportunities through timely and consistent reviews, execute PIP and disciplinary steps as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, inventory adjustments, and any other reviews necessary for inventory accuracy.
Skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive.
- Requires self-management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Previous supervisory experience or formal education in supervisory management.
- Demonstrate leadership and people skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
