Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be the face of our retail store, passionately guiding customers through their mobile technology journey. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable mobile devices, accessories, and plans.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase device features, benefits, and functionalities effectively.
- Assist customers with POS (Point of Sale) transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions clearly, maintaining phone etiquette, and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store layout is attractive and accessible.
- Upsell additional products or services that enhance the customer’s mobile experience while respecting their preferences.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, participating in stocking activities, and communicating product needs to management.
- Educate customers on store policies, warranty options, and available promotions through clear communication.
- Assist in product demos for new devices or accessories to highlight features and benefits effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that aligns with brand standards and promotes easy navigation for shoppers.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within electronics or grocery store environments.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus but not required; demonstrated ability to guide or assist team members is valued.
- Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are advantageous to serve diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions is essential.
- Proven ability to upsell products while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store displays enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries professionally over the phone.
